I was on hiatus for quite a while and forgot my password, so I requested a new one. The randomised passwords they give you are, of course, impossible to remember and tedious to store and try to find everytime I want to log-in, so I always have to request a new one because for the life of me I can't find out where to change my password (for the fanfics not the message boards).

If anyone could tell me where on earth the page is where I can change my password, the planets would align. <3

The hell with the opening bands, even ISHC... hardcore = not my style.

Its pretty hard to talk about this one, probably because I'm in recovery mode. My legs hurt from trying to brace myself against a stage with not-even-hip-high railing (WTF? I need something to brace against with my hands!). One of the bands got mad at me for holding onto the mic stand to try to stay upright... stupid ass, fuck your band dude... and I ended up face planting the stage a lot. My shoulders hurt from being shoved, my head hurts from a crowd surfer kicking me (accidentally or not I fucking hate crowd surfers). And I'm sleepy from staying up 'til 2am and then not being able to sleep between 2am and 7am when I had to get up.

Sigh. At least my ears aren't ringing... gotta love ear plugs.

I got the hell away from the front row after the third band (there were five, and NFG was last), walking onto the stage to get off where NFG's guitars were and around to the sound guy where I stayed for the rest of the show standing next to Steve and Jordan. Watch the videos... you'll see EXACTLY how crazy it was. NFG was amazing. I knew they would be. Chad, Steve, and Jordan are super nice. Cyrus and Ian gave off creepy don't come near me vibes. Jordan was getting all excited afterwards about getting a bean burrito from Taco Bell and I got to see Chad in his PJs. Y'all Chad is an absolute doll... I was rendered speechless for the most part because... HELLO... NEW FOUND GLORY! lmao... WOW.

The videos (Jordan and Chad rocked out in their boxers toward the end... :P)

Hi,

I read a story back in 2005 on gcfanfics. It was a Benji/OMC and had about 7 chapters. It was about Benji and a guy named Reed? or something with R. He was in a band. I remember a scene in the fic where 'Reed' plays poker at a party. It was completed at about 7 chapter. Anyone know this one?

Edit: I did a search in my favorites and I dont know it is the right link for the story I found but it is an old link..when I try it I get this message "Access denied. This story has not been validated by the adminstrators of this site" What does that mean?

Okay, so I don't know about the other parts of the states, but here in the south it's cool to wear like, a restaurant's t-shirt.

Like, Raising Cane's, Cracker Barrel, McAlisters - kids, well - mostly girls, will wear shirts from there...even if they don't work there. A lot of locally owned shops do it to.

I mean, I'd understand if the palace had some fame to it or something, but these are just regular restaurants that are everywhere.

Is that just in the south or is it like that everywhere?

Simple question.
Could cure boredom for .6743 seconds.

Yesterday I went to work. There a baby threw up on me - luckily I had his blanket over my shoulder. And a 3 year old kicked me in the shin. The cons of working in a day care.

Then I picked up my little cousin from his bus stopped and watched him for a while. Then I took my boyfriend to work, dropped my cousin off at his grandmas (my aunts), then came home and wrote a little.

Snooze fest - I know.

So, what did you do yesterday?

But, I was thinking maybe for sake of putting something here (at least I hope it goes here) we could just tell of how we found this wonderful site.

Okay, so I started writing fics back in seventh or eighth grade - 6 or 7 years ago. Wow - that's a long time, I hadn't even realized it. Lol. Anyway, and it was then that I started trying to find places to post online. I'm not sure how I found out that people acutally did that, I think maybe through Kerri's GRITS. I wanna say that's it. I think I was just surfing for GC stuff ('cause I was so obsessed that my mom could still tell you their birthdays, lol) and I just happened upon that. Then I found a more forum like site. I don't remember what it was called then, but now it's called'An Elaborate Dream' and is for a few different bands. But I heard a lot about this site (this was during the time when this was down, I'm assuming.) Then the posts started to die down and I was wondering why, then through someone on that site I heard of this one and moseyed on over. Then I knew why people were leaving that one. Lol.

So yeah, I've been around for a while. I think I even recognize a few people from the other site. Not sure.

I'm reading "My Wicked Enemy" by Carolyn Jewel

It's actually different than the other books I've read lately. The story is based around these immortal desert fiends (which sounds dirty), witches and mages. Idk if I can give it a decent summary, but this witch (she doesn't know that she a witch) runs from a seriously powerful mage who's been keeping her hostage. And she ends up getting caught by a fiend. Since fiends and mages/witches are feuding he's suppose to kill her, but he kind of falls for her.

My only problem is I'm over half way done... and there's no sex... even though it's a romance book.
